A Male-Specific Approach to Therapy
Emerging findings in neuroscience have demonstrated that traditional therapy is not congruent with how the male brain works. It's no wonder why boys and men often have a negative reaction to therapy and drop out. Boys and men tend to require therapy that is designed for how their brains work. It can also sometimes be challenging for guys to open up to female counselors about vulnerable topics that are specific to the male experience. My approach incorporates everything I have learned from leading psychological experts in healthy male development in addition to almost a decade of providing therapy to boys and men.
